Our firm NRI Legal Services is not just a conventional Law firm. We pride in calling ourselves a LEGAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY. 

The company was set up in the year 2000 with the sole purpose of addressing the property issues of overseas citizens. In 2006, the company grew from being a partnership firm to being a part of a privately held company Mindsprings (India) Private Limited. We understand that living in far off countries and bound by work schedules, it is not possible for overseas citizens to visit India frequently to get their property issues sorted out. The gap that gets created between them and their properties because of their absence, leads to problems beyond their own understanding or control. We, at NRI Legal Services understood their need for having trustworthy representatives within the country so that they could safely leave their issues to be solved by these representatives. Hence we built a set up that would provide a complete service solution range to all our clients with the purpose of monitoring their issues, supervising the matter and representing them for both in-court and out of court work. The idea was to help them protect their land and properties in India, without having to go through the hassle of travelling to India again and again.

OUR APPROACH

Our empathetic and friendly approach made us understand right at the time of our inception that people living outside India face tremendous problems in managing their property rights back home. Usually they have to depend on relatives who neither have legal knowledge nor the expertise to pursue these matters in the right manner. Additionally, there is time and effort involved in pursuing legal matters on someone else's behalf. Regular updates that are much needed by the NRIs are not always possible and unavoidable delays further spoil the situation. To make matters worse, there is the burden of unnecessary and extra costs that overseas citizens end up bearing due to mismanagement of the entire situation. This is where our company steps in. Not only do we have a large in house team of lawyers but we also work with over 400 lawyers chosen from the best around the country. As a result the circle of protection that we offer extends across almost every part of rural and urban India.

A client inquiry can come through any route i.e. website, offices abroad, direct call or visiting the India offices. Subsequently, a dedicated team of skilled staff collects the client's case facts and information. The next step is to instantly put the client face to face with our team of NRI land & property law experts through video, phone or email to consult and discuss the entire legal issue. Our online case management system archives all information of each client and regular updates and progress reports are provided to every client so that he/she never feels out of touch with their legal issues in India. Those who are not internet savvy can have access to other modes of communication like phone, fax or mail to effectively communicate with clients.
